It’s not often that we get a call from our colleagues at SERV Norfolk but that’s what happened last night when they needed to get a sample to RSCH Guildford in our patch.
Norfolk handed over the sample to SERV Herts & Beds – The Real Bloodrunners who in turn passed it on to Serv – Oxon, Bucks, Northants & Berks.
The final leg of the trip saw the handover to SERV – Surrey & South London in Staines from where it was taken to its destination.
152 miles covered by volunteers from 4 SERV – Emergency Blood Transport Service groups.
Well done to all involved.
