For the past few years, SERV Surrey and South London have entered a team into the annual Woking Rotary Club swimathon. This year is no different, once again several of our members will be switching their motorbikes for swimsuits and attempting to complete the maximum number of pool lengths in 55 minutes.
Last year, the team of four swimmers managed 102 lengths, an average of 25.5 lengths each! They’re hoping to beat that figure this year!
The team this year are Kim Brewin, Jon Southey, Paul Trotman, Stuart Allen and Finbarr Hutcheson. They take to the water at 10am, so if you’re free head down to the Pool in the Park, Woking and cheer them on!
If you would like to sponsor the SERV Surrey and South London team, you can do so via their Virgin Money Giving page. Any and all donations are gratefully received.
Full details of the event can be found on the Woking Rotary Club’s website.
