Donation from the Metropolitan Police Comets

SERV Surrey & South London were delighted to be chosen as the nominated charity for the Metropolitan Police Comets (Commissioner’s Office METS (Civil Staff Sports & Social Association)).

The Comets, founded in 1931 by Lord Trenchard, the then commissioner decided that the plethora of small clubs that existed within the Metropolitan Police should be embraced by one umbrella foundation, thus the Comets were born.

Due to the generosity of the Comets and it’s members, £507.45 was raised for SERV Surrey & South London. Thank you.
