Donation to SERV Surrey & South London in memory of Christopher Cookson

Christopher Cookson, a keen motorcyclist, bike mechanic and enthusiast from Alfold passed away tragically on 15 May 2014, aged 25 years; the much loved son of Philip and Jeanette, and adored brother of Suzanne.

It was the wish of the Cookson family that donations be made in Christophers memory to SERV Surrey & South London, as just like Christopher, SERV volunteers are just normal everyday people with a passion for motorcycling and helping others.

The funeral collection raised an amazing £1,200, a testament to the high regard, strength of love and depth of loss felt by all those who knew Christopher.

  1. To the Cookson family, my heartfelt condolences, i worked with Chris at GPL and only heard about his death this morning. My heart is broken and i hope you find the peace you need in this time

  2. Distressed today to learn of the death of Chris, a great guy who serviced my bikes and made sure they were safe for me to ride. Always good banter between us as there would have been when I last saw him six weeks before mid May. Really upset and have been thinking about him all day.
