How far would you go for some milk?

Earlier this week we took part in a relay with 3 other Bloodbike groups to deliver 8 Litres of frozen human breast milk to North Middlesex University Hospital London.

The consignment was collected by Merseyside & Cheshire Blood Bikes from Northwest Human Milk Bank in Chester and then relayed by Midland Freewheelers Blood Bikes and SERV Ox Bucks Berks N’hants Blood Bikes where it was then handed over to us at Heston Services on the M4. The consignment started its journey at 2030 and was delivered 0130.

This is the kind of work that bloodbike groups do every day to support the NHS free of charge and is solely done by volunteers giving up there free time to help others. Well done to all involved.
