One of our volunteers, Jamie, will be getting seen by more than the night-shift at our hospitals after appearing in a new advert for a touch phone made by CAT.
The Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes (NABB) was approached by the ad makers asking if they could provide a blood runner to appear in the 45 second commercial and Jamie was selected from the 1000’s of young hopefuls who queued all day to audition. OK, we asked our members if anyone would like to do it and he screamed the loudest.
We understand it was a tough day … for the crew … with our star demanding manicures, massages and delicate cucumber sandwiches (fed to him), but it was all well deserved as come the big moment, Jamie did us proud, remembering all of his lines and delivering an Oscar-worthy performance.
