SERV Surrey & South London were invited to an update by Kent Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance held at the University of Surrey, Guildford and four representatives from SERV S&SL attended. The latest stats are in from Kent Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance, and to date, 129 transfusions have been carried out, 69 of these in 2014 so far. Since February 2013, volunteer riders and drivers for SERV Surrey & South London have been restocking Kent Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance at their Redhill base enabling them to carry out lifesaving transfusions .....read more.
