SERV Surrey & South London were invited to an update by Kent Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance held at the University of Surrey, Guildford and four representatives from SERV S&SL attended. Nine year old Harry Leake from Sussex became the first child to receive a life saving blood transfusion from Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance. Harry suffered multiple life threatening injuries when he was hit by a motorcycle in Worthing. He became the first child patient to receive a roadside blood transfusion from Kent, Surrey .....read more.
