SERV Surrey & South London were invited to an update by Kent Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance held at the University of Surrey, Guildford and four representatives from SERV S&SL attended.
The excellent presentations explained how the service delivered by KSSAA is evolving and developing to meet ever changing needs whilst remaining at the forefront of HEMS excellence; in particular it was fascinating to see how KSSAA are able to deliver their service 24 hours a day with the recent introduction of night flying. The techology is quite simply astounding, not to mention the skills and expertise of the crews.
SERV S&SL were thanked by Nora Kearney, Head of the School of Health Sciences for the service we provide nightly and on an ad-hoc basis 24 hours a day keeping their Redhill Aircraft stocked with blood.
SERV Surrey & South London are proud to support this life-saving service.
